Weird World: ‘rap God’ stan sets World record with 54 Eminem-themed tattoos

Nikki Patterson has taken her love for rapper Eminem to a whole new level.

If there was ever any doubt that she was a committed fan, Patterson silenced naysayers with her extensive tattoos featuring the D-12 group member. According to a recent report, the nail technician from Aberdeen Scotland has made history receiving the title for “the most tattoos of the same musician tattooed on the body” on March 31.

According to CNN, he first tattoo was a symbolic ‘E’ the size of the coin when she turned 19. “Since then; she has 54 tattoos across her 5-foot-6 frame, 28 are Eminem-themed. And 16 of them are portraits of the rapper, which earned her the world record.”

The self-proclaimed Eminem stan has noted that the tattoos have not been an outlet to show her love for her favorite rapper, but also a tool that helped her develop better self-esteem and improve her body image.

And it seems that she is not slowing down. Patternson has began a campaign on social media to have the ‘Rap God’ lyricist sign her skin.

“I’ve had a hashtag called #SignMeShady because I want to get his signature tattooed on me,” Patterson said. “My Instagram has been aimed at getting his attention. I’m excited because I think the attention might lead to something, but I’ve also had a lot of horrible comments, which is hard.”

Patterson’s relationship with her husband has often been a subject of ridicule considering her extreme love for Detroit rapper Eminem. She noted, “They have a fascination with my love life because they can’t understand how another guy would want to be with me,” she said. “I feel like people just see a picture and they judge me, when they don’t judge … my past or my situation.”

Speaking about her Guinness World Record, Patterson was proud of her achievement. She wrote, “I’m just a girl in the UK who went from hearing Stan for the first time at 14 years old to having Inked Mag, Fox News, NME, etc writing articles about me. I made that happen. I work my ass off running my own business so that I can pay for my ink. I spend hours sitting in the tattooist’s chair in pain. I pick the best artists which means I have spent hours traveling. I made the Guinness World Record happen all on my own. I applied for it, I found the dermatologist, I made the whole process happen. I have the balls to put myself out there despite the fact that I get ridiculed daily.” She added, “I have a dream. I’m chasing that dream until the day I die. Can you say that???”
