The Kenyan duo that forms the Highpitch Band Africa is gospel musicians with a number of tracks released online including “Big God” and now the popular “Despacito” cover. With their version of the latino track trending on Youtube, the high school buddies from Nanyuki could do more covers on their Youtube channel. Singing in Meru, the two highlight how beautiful the language can be, something many often overlook. Writing their own lines in fluent Meru, the track is worth a listen.
