The official trailer for the final season of Starz’s hit series Power has been released.
The cast were in attendance at Essence Festival on Saturday to debut the trailer for a gripping season 6 in which Ghost seeks his final revenge.
It was also a chance for the cast to reunite after they finished filming the final episode and wrapping up the hit show last month.
Power season six picks up with James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Hardwick) seeking vengeance. His former drug partner and brother-in-arms Tommy Egan must pay for the ultimate betrayal.
Rocked to his core by the perfidiousness and cruelties of those he once called his family, Ghost devotes himself to one notion: Success is the best revenge, with all intentions of getting both.
Ghost aims to get even with Tommy (Sikora), get the Queens Child Project built to consecrate Raina’s legacy, and finally achieve a thriving legitimate lifestyle with no criminal strings attached.
As the Feds grow closer to convicting him, Ghost must remain vigilant toward those wanting to take him down for his past criminal enterprises.
As reported by The Sauce, The final season of the captivating series dubbed ‘The Final Betrayal’ will feature 15 episodes, premiering on August 25th 2019.
