Vera Sidika is much more than just a pretty face.
The former Nairobi Diaries cast member is keen to turn her social influence into capital with her latest business venture. Opening a beauty parlor in the Western Heights, Westlands Vera is keen to prove that she does have some business sense. Being her second business venture, the first being the Veetox Herbal Detox, clearly, Sidika is not afraid to make big boss moves in this city. The parlor has already had a host of A-listers go in to get the best treatment in town. Among some of the celebs going in for beauty treatments is Pinky Ghelani, as well as Harmonize’s ex Tanzanian movie star Wolper Stylish.
The behind the scenes footage of the grand opening of Vera Sidika Beauty Parlor was released on Vera’s YouTube channel. The party was attended by East Africa’s who is who including Hits Not Homework Host Anita Nderu, Deejay Dii, and even Teen Republic host Martin Kimathi. In the video, Vera said, “I wanted to bring that Beverly Hills vibe…this took so much work … because I wanted this to turn out perfect.” Speaking about her transition from reality television star and socialite into an entrepreneur, she said: “I think in life, we need negatives to develop…sometimes it is not how you start it is how you finish.”
Though she might be on a high in her professional life, Vera just deleted all her pictures with her boyfriend crooner Otile Brown. Does this signal trouble in paradise for the couple?
