VIDEO: Drake honors the modern woman in latest video, and we love it

I don’t know what I expected to hear when I put on my headphones to listen to Drake’s ‘Nice For What’. The new single released Friday night is nothing but spectacular.

Drake made a beautiful song over a beat sampling Lauryn Hill’s “Ex-Factor.” Drake’s vocal clarity, his energy, and lyrical ability are truly amazing.

Throughout the song, Drake speaks about female empowerment in the digital age. Women can be found trying to gain a following and live in the light, but that also comes with some resistance and hate. Despite what they go through, Drake shows that he understands and appreciates the hustle.

Combined with a vibrant video that features  Karena Evans, Olivia Wilde, Misty Copeland, Issa Rae, Rashida Jones, Jourdan Dunn, Tracee Ellis Ross, Tiffany Haddish, Yara Shahidi, Zoe Saldana, Emma Roberts, Syd, Bria Vinaite, Michelle Rodriguez, Letitia Wright, Elizabeth and Victoria Lejonhjärta.

So far, “Nice for What” is Drakes best release out of his album so far.

From God’s Plan to this new release, Drakes upcoming album promises nothing but fire.
