Vanessaa Mdee says she knew in two days that her new sexy bae Rotimi was her husband

Tanzanian songbird Vanessa Mdee is deeply in love with Nigerian-American singer and actor Rotimi.

This is no secret as the two have been posting up on social media with many people loving the new couple.

As reported by The Sauce in October, Vanessa moved on from her previous relationship with Tanzanian singer Juma Jux and started dating Rotimi who is popularly known for his role as Andre ‘Dre’ Coleman on the hit show Power.

In a recent interview with Tanzania’s Millard Ayo on Ayo TV, the ‘Moyo’ singer said she met the ‘Love Riddim’ hitmaker at the 2019 Essence Festival that was held in New Orleans in July 2019. She went to say that their meeting was through a friend and that the attraction was instant.

Vee Money as she is popularly referred to also said that her first conversation with Rotimi was deep and that it felt like they had known each other for years.

The former radio presenter described Rotimi as God-fearing, generous, self-aware, wise and people-loving. She added that since she started to date him, she is at peace, happy and he has changed her completely.

Mdee who refused to talk about her past relationship with her fellow countryman and instead preferred talking about her new lover said it took her just two days to know that the singer of Nigerian descent was her husband.

“It took me just two days for me to know that he was my husband,” she said. “You know when you are in love with somebody. Yes, I’m in love with him,” she gushed.

When asked if they were thinking of having kids, Vanessa said it was all in God’s timing.

Vanessa, 31, has over the years established herself as East African powerhouse with interests in radio, music, fashion and acting. She was part of the first panel of judges for East Africa’s got talent.

Rotimi’s real name is Olurotimi Akinosho. He is a 30-year-old singer, actor and model born in New Jersey, USA to Nigerian parents. He has been in the game since 2011 and his acting breakthrough was on the TV series ‘Boss’.
