USIU and Strath Basketball players honoured

Basketball fans have voted Arou Ramadhan and Grace Wanjiku as the top basketball players in the Kenyan League.

USIU forward, Ramadhan and Strathmore’s Wanjiku won the top male and female player in an online poll conducted by the Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) and Code Red Entertainment.

The winners will be feted at a function organized by KBF and CodeRed this weekend. The event will see players from high school, colleges; Coast Basketball Association (CBA), Nairobi Basketball Association (NBA), Division One and Premier League receive recognition at the function.

The diminutive Grace completed her fourth year of study this month. She has been a key player in Swords and has also played for the national team.
