Five students from the University of Nairobi Business School will represent East Africa in an international finance competition after beating the Strathmore team. The UoN team will fight it out with other teams from across the globe in the Certified Financial Analysts (CFA) Institute Research Challenge in Amsterdam.
The regional teams, including USIU, KU, Makerere Business School and KCA, were judged based on their presentations, research, financial analysis and reports.
The judges, who included finance managers, declared the UoN team as the winner based on school ranking after the team tied in points with Strathmore.
