University Lecturer Professor Francis Njeruh is engaged in legal dispute with the Vice Chancellor of Jomo Kenyatta of Agriculture and Technology Professor Mabel Imbuga over his dismissal from the institution.
The aggrieved Professor Njeruh has applied and obtained orders restraining the Vice Chancellor from making any recruitment to the position of Deputy vice-Chancellor in-charge and finance and administration, pending the hearing and determination of the suit.
When the matter came up for hearing before Justice Mathews Nderi Nduma, the applicant through his lawyer Dr Kamau Kuria sought the leave of the court to enjoin Professors Benard Otoki Moirongo and Victoria Wambui has interested parties on grounds that they have been appointed to position of Finance and Administration respectively.
The applicant argue that the two appointments have taken the position which the court had issued orders halting his replacement.
Professor Njeruh, says that the Vice Chancellor whom the court found being in contempt and fined her Sh 500,000 has still not obeyed the orders.
He says that Professor Imbuga has totally refused to purge the contempt has ordered by the court.
00Justice Nduma directed the applicant to amend his application to include the two professors and the matter be heard inter parties on 18 February 2015.
