Ugandan star Mowzey Radio succumbs to injuries

One half of Uganda’s dynamic duo Radio and Weasel passed away in the wee hours on the night of January 31st, 2018.

The sad news was confirmed with a simple tweet on the Radio and Weasel account.

The talented singer is known for tracks such as “Bread and Butter” and “Bring Me Back” passed away after succumbing to injuries due to an accident which led him into a coma on the night of 22nd January 2018. While at a bar at Entebbe Beach, it was reported by The Star that the singer was “shoved by a bouncer, landing his head on a sharp object that inflicted a deep cut.”

A post was put on on the Radio and Weasel Instagram account to dispell rumors that the Goodlyf crew member was in critical condition, insisting he was on the road to recovery.
