Trevor Noah always keeps it 100.
The comedian and show host who just released a Netflix special “Son of Patricia” is set to disappoint many fans with news of his poor health. The South African comedy genius regretfully addressed his fans in an Instagram post detailing his most recent commitments may have been to blame for his dwindling health.
Taking to the gram, he wrote “…I hate canceling shows but I also hate losing my voice forever so I’m postponing all of this year’s stand up shows and working hard on rehabbing the voice.” Noah joked, ” I’m gonna be The Rock but in a voice gym.”
The stand-up cancellations affect bookings in California and Abu Dhabi.
Trevor Noah was in South Africa for the Global Citizen: Mandela 100 concert where he hosted the event that streamed worldwide. While in South Africa, the 34-year-old published author also visited with family in Soweto. While there, he filmed a segment for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah where he gave a tour of his childhood home. Needless to say, it was very entertaining.
