The track ‘Power is Power’ is finally out, and Game of Thrones have something to celebrate after the first two episodes have left many disappointed.
Getting into the realm of Jon Stark and other Game of Thrones characters, Travis Scott is giving off all the appropriate vibes as he works on the track ‘Power is Power.’ Taking to the photo-sharing app Instagram, the renowned rapper shared an image of himself in Game of Thrones regalia. He proudly captioned the post, “House of Flame… Son of lord Jacques B Webster the 1st… Husband of the Goddess K🦋… Protector of the Seven Kingdoms… Blatt”

The track which is a collaboration between Travis Scott, The Weeknd and SZA is a great meager between the modern sound of the three artists as well as the heavy, enchanting content from the HBO show. Inserting interesting Game of Thrones references, the trio delivers a hype track that any Game of Thrones fan would enjoy.
The track starts off “I was born of the ice and snow /With the winter wolves in the dark, alone/ The wildest night I became the one/ And you’ll know you’re mine when the silence comes/ Heavy is the crown/ Only for the weak/ A knife in my heart couldn’t slow me down/ ‘Cause power is power, my fire never goes out/ I rise from my scars, nothing hurts me now/ ‘Cause power is power, now watch me burn it down./
Though many speculate the track’s lyrics are from the point of view of the Night King, many speculate that each artist represents a different character. Do you think they are singing from the Night King’s perspective?
