Essence Magazine recently highlighted three Kenyan food bloggers who people should watch out for and try out their numerous recipes.
These include; Capital FM’s Throwdown Queen Miss Mandi, award-winning food blogger Kaluhi Adagala aka Kaluhi’s kitchen and newbie Chef Sheena Amario.
Mandi Sarro, better known as Miss Mandi, knows how to throw down. This food vlogger and self-proclaimed plantain enthusiast throws it down in the kitchen with her Youtube channel Miss Mandi’s Throwdown. There you can find videos of Sarro sharing everything from recipes for traditional Kenyan dishes, to tips on how to get the most out of your leftovers. She is currently showcasing her one pan dishes skills on the Valentine’s throwdown series.
Kaluhi Adagala also known as Kaluhi’s kitchen is an award-winning food blogger whose efforts have also been recognized by the CNN. She is a self-taught cook who created her blog Kaluhi’s Kitchen a few years ago. She uses locally grown ingredients and simple recipes, her dishes are unique, tantalizing and easy to replicate in your own home.
Chef Sheena Amario food blog Sheena’s kitchen is a must look. Sheena prepares Kenyan and international cuisines on her platform. She also takes her followers along as she explores healthy living through food and shows that healthy doesn’t have to equal tasteless.
