Chicago native Valencia Love has now been caught up in R.Kelly’s scandal.
The daycare owner recently received threats to her business and her safety. A report online revealed (2.03.2019) that Love, Kelly’s friend had “multiple people call in a bomb threat at a local daycare to which Valencia P. Love has been connected. A local bomb squad soon responded, clearing the area and investigating the threat. Chicago police soon confirmed that multiple calls did, indeed, come in. The daycare was evacuated and authorities ultimately did not find any explosive device at the daycare center.”
According to a blog site Your Tango, Love reportedly owns multiple restaurants in the Chicago area including Love on the Blu, a diner just outside the city,” in addition to the daycare facility that was apparently under threat.
Love made headlines for posting $100,000 bail for the “Ignition” singer after the Grammy winner found it difficult to come up with the lump sum, as reported by The Sauce. “A judge in Chicago set Kelly’s total bond at $1 million on Saturday, a day after he was indicted on 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse against four victims, three of whom would have been underage at the time of the alleged crimes, according to prosecutors.”
R. Kelly pled not guilty to 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. He was ordered to surrender his passport and any weapon, and to have no contact with anyone under 18 or his alleged victims ahead of the trial.
Kelly is currently out on bail awaiting the hearing of his case.
