From a day to 72 days, here are some of the short-lived marriages ever!
Eunice Njeri and Isaac Bukasa – 24 hours
Gospel singer Eunice Njeri gave her fans the shock of a lifetime when she announced that her marriage to rapper Isaac Bukasa aka Izzo had only lasted a mere 24 hours.
The couple tied the knot on the 27th of November 2016 in a church in Texas, USA and their marriage was annulled a few hours later.
On the 27th of Nov 2016, Isaac and I did go to the altar to get married, but at the end of that day I realized one thing, I couldn’t do it, my heart was somewhere else. Probably in Africa doing what I do best, am still trying to figure that out. I immediately left for Kenya and have been serving God the best way I know how,” she wrote.

Britney Spears and Jason Alexander – 55 hours
After ringing in the new year in 2004, Britney Spears went to Las Vegas to tie the knot with her childhood friend Jason Alexander.
The then 22-year-old pop princess ditched her new husband 55 hours later, filing annulment papers that stated, “Plaintiff Spears lacked understanding of her actions to the extent that she was incapable of agreeing to the marriage.”

Nicolas Cage and Erika Koike – 4 days
After four days of marriage, actor Nicolas Cage filed for an annulment from his fourth wife, Erika Koike.
Cage married Koike on March 23, 2019. On March 27, the actor filed for an annulment. The two began dating in April 2018. According to People, the couple was seen arguing as they applied for a marriage license.
Cage is not new to short marriages. He got married to Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of singer Elvis Presley on the 25th anniversary of her father’s death in 2002. The couple split 107 days later.
Paul Mbuvi and Sheila Cherono -10 days
Kenyan TV personality Paul Mbuvi was married to one Sheila Cherono for only 10 days before their union came crashing.
The K24 presenter reportedly left his wife after a two-week marriage. His reason behind the divorce? His wife was a cheater. He confronted his wife about the cheating allegations, and she didn’t deny it.
Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds – 14 days
Actor Eddie Murphy and Edmonds married on New Year’s Day 2008 on a private island off Bora Bora. But the couple’s marriage reportedly got off to a rocky start even on their honeymoon.
After two weeks, the two announced that they were splitting and that their marriage was a “symbolic union,” and was not legally binding in the US.
Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries – 72 days
Reality star Kim Kardashian West said yes when NBA player Kris Humphries got down on one knee in May 2011. They got married in August of that year and by October they were filing for divorce.
Everyone thought their 72-day marriage was a publicity stunt put on by the Kardashians but both parties deny, deny, deny.
Jennifer Lopez and Cris Judd -218 days
Multi-talented star Jennifer Lopez met Cris Judd back in 2001 when he worked as a back-up dancer in her ‘Love Don’t Cost a Thing’ video.
They got engaged and married within the year, but the marriage came crashing down 218 days later.
This is not the only short-lived marriage Lopez has been in, her first marriage barely lasted a year. She and Ojani Noa got married on February 22, 1997, but they split a mere 313 days later.
