Children are a gift of God and the Bible says that God told Adam and Eve to go forth and fill the earth. Some celebrities have taken this quite literally and sired or adopted multiple children.
Stars like dancehall artist Elephant Man have over 15 children while rapper DMX has 15 children. Here in Kenya, we have the likes of Akuku Danger who was said to have had over 150 children from 100 wives. Music video director J Blessing has fathered about five children with different women among them singer Avril and radio presenter Mwende Macharia.
Here are celebrities who have close to 10 children and more.
Elephant Man
Popular Jamaican dancehall star Elephant Man, whose given name is O’Neil Bryan, has boasted of having more than 15 children with some other reports claiming that he might have 30 children.
In another interview, while trying to defend himself against rape allegations, the ‘Gully Creeper’ hitmaker said he has 20 baby mamas therefore he does not need to rape any woman.
Elephant Man has also been accused by children for being a dead beat dad.
DMX
American rapper DMX has 15 kids in total. DMX had 10 children with other women on top of the four he had with his former wife Tashera Simmons.
And after they divorced in 2012, he wasn’t done with having babies. His youngest his 15th was a baby boy named Exodus born in 2016 with his girlfriend Desiree.
Having so many kids is definitely expensive. The ‘Lord Give Me A Sign’ crooner fought some child support payments in court, and we’re not sure he is supporting all 15 kids, but in 2013, he had to file for bankruptcy, citing all of his child support obligations as a big reason for his financial difficulties.
Bob Marley
Reggae legend Bob Marley had 11 acknowledged children with seven different mothers before dying in 1981 at age 36. He had three children with his wife Rita Marley, and he adopted her two children from previous relationships.
Like other famous musicians, the late Jamaican artist is rumoured to have fathered more than the 11 children officially acknowledged by the late singer’s estate, leaving such claims largely unsubstantiated.
They include Damian Gong Marley, Rohan Marley, Julian Marley, Stephen Marley, Ky-mani Marley, Ziggy Marley, Cedella Marley and Robert Marley among many others.
Eddie Murphy
American comedian and actor Eddie Murphy has 10 kids.
Five of the actor’s kids are with his ex-wife Nicole Mitchell Murphy and the others are from various relationships. His first child, Eric Murphy, was born in 1989. Eddie had him with girlfriend Paulette McNeely. In 1990, he had son Christian Murphy with girlfriend Tamara Hood. Myles Murphy, Bria Murphy, Zola Murphy, Shayne Murphy, and Bella Murphy followed. They’re all Nicole and Eddie’s kids. After their divorce in 2006, Eddie had Angel Iris Murphy Brown with Melanie Brown aka Scary Spice.
In 2012, Eddie started seeing Paige Butcher. They welcomed daughter Izzy Oona Murphy in 2016 and son Max Charles Murphy in November 2018.
Peter Gunz
Peter Gunz is rapper, Love and Hip hop star and a father of 10, his youngest and oldest are more than 25 years apart.
He’s had so many kids that two of them are named Cory. Son Cory Gunz is also in the music business, while his daughter Cori is only a few years old.
A lot of Peter’s crazy life has been documented on “Love and Hip Hop”, including the birth of two babies in one year from two different mothers. In 2016, he had Gunner in February with Tara Wallance and daughter Bronx in August with Amina Buddafly.
In 2019, Gunz was reported to have impregnated a 19-year-old woman with his 11th child. He quickly denied this rumour.
The Dream
American producer The-Dream has nine children.
After dating for six months, he married his girlfriend, Nivea in 2004. Together they had three children, daughter Navy Talia Nash (on May 10, 2005) and twin sons London and Christian Nash (April 19, 2006).
The artist married and divorced singer Christina Milian who gave birth to their daughter, Violet Madison Nash on February 26, 2010. A woman named Lydia Nam gave birth to their son in 2013.
He then married LaLonne Martinez in 2014 with whom he has four children, two sons, Heir (born 2015) and Lord Nash (born 2016), and two daughters, Maverick Nash (born 2017) and Élysées Nash (born 2019).
Yung Joc
‘Love and Hip Hop’ franchise star Yung Joc may not be making music as much as he used to years ago but he is making babies.
He is the father of eight kids who have four different mothers. In fact, Yung Joc has two sets of twins among his brood these include Sina: Amoni, Ja’Kori, Amir, Chase, twins Cadence and Camora, and twins Eden and Allon.

American rapper Future currently has six confirmed children by six different mothers.
The ‘Mask Off’ crooner currently has six children namely Jessica Smith, Brittni Mealy, India J, singer Ciara, Joie Chavis, and an unidentified woman. He was engaged to Ciara in October 2013. Their son, Future Zahir Wilburn, was born on May 19, 2014. Ciara ended the engagement in August 2014 due to his infidelity.
In 2019, two women from Florida and Texas respectively filed paternity suits claiming that Wilburn was the father of their respective daughter and son. According to reports, Cindy Parker and Eliza Reign took DNA testing to prove that their children are siblings.
Test results showed that their kids are related and have the same father. This means that Future might have 8 children in total.
