Television siren Anne Kiguta has been missing in action on the screen for several months now but that will change in the next few days.
The mother of three has this morning revealed that she will be making a comeback on TV with a hard-punching politics infused show dubbed on K24 TV starting this Sunday 21.07.19. She shared this alongside a poster that affirmed her readiness to rumble, “You Can’t knock her down’.
According to the Politics queen, the show dubbed ‘Punchline’ will be airing every Sunday at 9 pm. She also promised to give a good show, thanked her fans for their support and added that she had missed them too.
Anne has been keeping away from social media with her last post being in January also teased her fans with a picture of her getting her makeup done yesterday with the caption “Lights, Camera, Action.”
Ms Kiguta assured her fans earlier this year that the show is definitely one to look out for according to a report by Kenyans.co.ke.
“By God’s grace, I’ve always made the right move in television and been privileged to work with the best in the industry. Also as you know I don’t frequently hop from station to station. So when I do move it’s not for nothing – it’s substantial,” she affirmed.
Adding that she was excited about the new challenge at the MediaMax owned station. “I’m excited about the strategic vision of K24 and the fresh, innovative thinking around programming and news content,” she disclosed.
The talk show host has been in the game for several years and is known for her prowess in political reporting. Prior to her hiatus and anticipated comeback, she was a news anchor at Citizen TV for several years and at KTN before her stint at the Royal Media TV station.
