Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones did not come to play in 2020 as he has wasted no time telling off little known Nigerian rapper Blaq Bonez.
The O.G has today (14.01.2020) unleashed a fire diss track titled ‘Best rapper in Nigeria’ in response to Nigerian rapper Blaq Bonez’ disrespect over his SoundCity MVP awards win over the weekend. As reported by The Sauce, Papa Jones has crowned the king of African Hip-hop when he won the Best hip hop award at the prestigious awards in Lagos, Nigeria.
Shortly after, the rapper who was among the nominees for the award took to social media to call out Khaligraph. “Somebody tell Khaligraph that I’m still the best rapper in Africa Sound City got it wrong. Diss track in the morning, you know what I mean!!!” said Blaq Bonez
Bonez was however forced to apologize to Khaligraph saying that people took his earlier post way too seriously. “Lmaoo I’m kidding about a diss track oo. Wtf you people are taking me too seriously. Congrats @Khalipgraph Jones. And I’m sorry.” He said.
However the hard-hitting did not take too kindly to these comments and he has come out guns blazing. In the newly released diss track, Khali takes shots at everything about Blaq Bonez whose real name is Emeka Akumefule. Khali confidently calls himself the best Kenyan-Nigerian rapper while savagely calls Bonez a snitch, wannabe, a homosexual, irrelevant and calls his music a joke meaning that he can’t compete with him. He chides Bonez that he won the award right in his backyard, advises him to pay his lazy fans to vote for him next time and claims that he is dissing him to help him boost his ego.
“They have never heard of black Bonez, they’ve only heard of Black Panther,” hits out Khaligraph.
The ‘Mazishi’ hitmaker goes ahead to big up some of Nigeria’s top talents like Ice Prince Zamani, M.I and Ycee whom he worked with on the track ‘Gwala’ while dissing the new age rappers that they don’t have what it takes to be at his level.“I see all the new dance moves but who is doing the raps?” poses Khaligraph.
Also, Khali lays out his conditions if Bonez wants to settle the beef which include Nigerian citizenship, a house by the lake, high-end cars and 10 women.
Fans have lauded the father of one for his prowess and his punchlines against the Nigerian rapper. The song has garnered over 10,000 views in just a few hours after its release.
On the other hand, we might soon hear from the rather unfazed Chocolate City rapper as he recently recanted his apology to the O.G and is now ready to battle the rap king. The two are now embroiled in a hilarious war of words daring each other and calling each other out in every post. The two look like they enjoying this beef a tad bit much.
