Nyama Mama set to host The Greatest Maasai Mara Photographer of the Year 2018 at Nyama Mama Capital Centre in partnership with Angama Foundation.
The competition is aimed at raising funds to boost on ground conservation initiatives by Angama Foundation. The competition that was announced earlier in the year is set to culminate this week, with all 8 finalists hoping to win the grand title.
Sponsored by Angama Mara, The Greatest Maasai Mara Photographer of the Year will win a cash prize of US$10,000, as well as an unforgettable all-expenses-paid 5-night safari in the Maasai Mara, with accommodation for two at a lovely Angama Mara, a private vehicle at their disposal and return flights from Nairobi.

The guest judges of the competition will include the Master, Art Wolfe, the Maestro, Federico Veronesi, and the host, Adam Bannister. Finalists in the competition include Paolo Torchio, Ketan Khambatta, Torsten Brehm, Fernando Morales Roca, Harman Singh Heer, Anup Shah, Nampaso Kaani James, and India Burkeley. Harman Singh Heer is a 16-year-old photographer who has built a name for himself. Selling his lively images as prints online, Heer has built up quite the reputation.

High-level government officials, tourism sector stakeholders, and other VIPs are expected to grace the event.
The event will be happening on Thursday 6th at Nyama Mama Capital Centre from 6 p.m.
