Monsters University is an animated film released by Walt Disney Pictures. The film centers around Mike who after dreaming of being a scarer in future joins Monsters University as a scare major. Mike who prefers hard work soon forms a rivalry with Sulley who considers himself naturally gifted in the art of scaring. The film is a prequel to the 2001 film Monsters Inc. Monsters University has received positive reviews from critics worldwide. It holds a 78% approval rating on film review website Rotten Tomatoes. Having been released in June 2013, the film has grossed over $650,000 to date.
