She went ahead to thank God for the accomplishment, revealing that this had been a dream come true to better the lives of young girls by keeping girls in school.
This is not the first time that the celebrated artist aged 30, has launched a project to empower young women and girls. In October, Vanessa was in Kenya to promote her new music but also had a motivational talk with a group of young girls in Kibera as part of her “Udada Talks” initiative.
“Udada Talks” is a program under the Udada Foundation that aims to inspire and motivate young women and girls founded by Vanessa Mdee and her sisters Nancy Hebron and Mimi Mars. Following the success of her 2018 album “Money Mondays”, the Bongo songstress has released the visuals for her two hit singles in one week, “Bambino” featuring Nigerian singer Reekado Banks and “The Way You Are” which are songs off the album.
