Strathmore Business School nominated as the Knowledge partners of the 2013 Connected Kenya Summit
Strathmore Business School has been nominated as the Analyst and Content Partner during the 2013 Connected Kenya Summit that will be held at the Sarova Whitesands, Mombasa, as from May 27 to 30.
Connected Kenya Summit which brings together leaders and influencers in the ICT sector has become the signature ICT event in the region. The summit provides a platform for ICT players to come up with strategies that will deliberate and drive ICT innovations towards public service excellence.
“We have settled on Strathmore Business School because it’s one of the best managed business school in the country,” Paul Kukubo, the CEO of Kenya ICT Board, said.
Mr. Kukubo added that Strathmore Business School will add great value to the conference since experiences shared during the summit will form important material for discussions in universities.
“One of our objectives includes using ICT as a tool for furthering education in the country. And we hope that the business school will assist in packaging and disseminating the information for students and the public to benefit,” he said.

Kenya ICT Board is the organizer of the Connected Kenya Summit that is now in its fifth edition. The theme of this year’s conference is, ‘The County Citizen. Served’ aims to find ways in which the citizens can be served well in every sector.
Some of the key issues that will be addressed in the conference include; the new government structure and how ICT can be used to steer the devolution process, the new Kenyan constitution and the role of Kenya ICT Board as an enabler of government’s ICT uptake.
Strathmore Business School was established in 2005. It is ranked third in Webometrics ranking of business schools in Africa.
