Chris Brown and Davido have teamed up again for the second time, and it is pure magic. The duo released the audio for the track ‘Lower Body’ on the eve of October 3rd, 2019. Davido opens the track with a simple stanza that sets the rhythm for the track. With a gradual rise in tempo; Chris Brown does a great job in the background while Davido’s talent shines through. A surprising twist is Chris Brown’s Naija intonation.
2. Phyno feat Davido – Ride For You
Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike also known to many as Phyno has dropped another banger. The Nigerian rapper teamed up with ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ crooner Davido for a great collaboration dubbed ‘Ride For You’. The track that was released on 25th September has received a lot of love online; surpassing 1 million views on YouTube. Fusing traditional afro-beats with a distinct guitar; the track is a great serenade for any woman interested in a man who will ‘ride for you.’
3. Fabulous, Jeremih, Davido – Choosy
It is a great trio. Fabulous, Jeremih, Davido’s make great music; fusing traditional hip hop, RnB and afrobeats. The sound is easy, and oozes sexiness. The threesome have released the collaboration on the first week of the month, making for a strategic move to rule the charts all month long. This is Davido’s second international collab coming within hours of each other, with the previous one with Chris Brown ‘Lower Body’ garnering more than 30K views on YouTube hours after its release.
