‘No cap’ crooner Soulja Boy sued for alleged assault of ex-girlfriend

Soulja Boy is being sued for allegedly assaulting a woman.

The 29-year-old rapper was accused of kidnapping his then-girlfriend Kayla Myers last year as earlier reported on The Sauce, and after the criminal charges against him were dropped, Kayla is now pursuing further legal action to sue the musician.

According to TMZ, Kayla alleges she was partying with Soulja at his Malibu home on February 1 2019 when she decided to leave, but got into an argument with one of the rapper’s female assistants as she was trying to back her car out of his driveway.

In her lawsuit, Kayla claims she was knocked to the ground, and then Soulja came over and kicked her in the stomach and told her she was “going to die” whilst holding a gun to her head.

The documents allege Soulja directed the assistant to drag Kayla to the garage, tie her up with duct tape and give her a shower.

Kayla claims she was being held captive with an extension cord when a male assistant offered to set her free if she performed oral sex on him, which she agreed to because she “had no choice”.

After she was released, she alleges Soulja then said: “Now get this b***h outta here before I knock her down the stairs.”

Kayla claims she fractured three ribs and bruised her face during the alleged altercation, and is now suing Soulja for assault, battery, and false imprisonment, whilst also going after the male assistant for sexual battery.

In June last year, it was reported the criminal case against Soulja had been dropped, after the Ventura County District Attorney stated there is not enough evidence to charge the star.

Police had carried out a raid at his home in February over the kidnapping allegations, and whilst he was not charged for the alleged incident, he was arrested for being in possession of firearms, which was a violation of his probation stemming from weapons violations he was convicted of almost nine years ago.
