SlutWalk founder Amber Rose shares her plans to give back to female fans

Amber Rose is planning to pay for her fans’ college tuition fees.

The 34-year-old businesswoman – who has five-year-old son Sebastian with her ex-husband Wiz Khalifa – launched a free app on Monday (23.07.18) called Amber Rose Official, which is designed to empower women and help them fulfil their goals, and has said she will be using it to help fuel fans’ endeavours by paying money toward their rent and college tuition costs.

In a press release, she said: “I wanted it to be very personal so it’s going to be full of content you can’t find on any of my other platforms. I also know how amazing my fans are, so this gives me the opportunity to show them I see and hear them. I want to give back and build a tight-knit community in which they can all feel empowered to be themselves with the support of other members of the amazing Amber Rose community.”

And a representative for the SlutWalk founder confirmed she would be using her own money to pay for these costs.

They told New York Post’s Page Six column: “Amber will be funding these projects on her own as she wants to support the individuals who have been supporting her along the way.”

The app, which was developed by Escapex, will use special technology to identify Amber’s biggest fans, which will help determine who will receive her contributions.

As of the time of writing, it is unknown how much money Amber is willing to splash on the app, but it has been revealed that one of the top prizes for being a fan of the star is flights and tickets to and attend her October SlutWalk in Downtown Los Angeles.
