Former radio presenter and hypeman Davidson Ngibuini alias DNG has carried the day by clinching the Woodley Kenyatta Golf Course Ward MCA seat.
An elated DNG took to his social media to thank fans/voters for being instrumental in helping him make it happen. “Thank you for burning the midnight oil with me. I am happy to announce that 24 hours into it, we have clinched the seat. We fought hard as a team, we have campaigned hard as a team and have overcome all odds as a team. Most importantly, Go has seen us through,” He wrote.
The former musician took the lead, with a total of 6, 854 votes ahead of his competitors. Musician Gabu, who was contesting in the same ward, came in 4th with a total of 1,119 votes.
In the same breath, incumbent Langata MP Nixon Korir seems to have conceded defeat after the latest results indicated that his competitor Jalang’o had taken a dominant lead. “From the results that we have tallied at the Generali centre, my competitor Jalang’o him as he prepares to take the mantle forward,” He wrote.
