Bongo musician Diamond Platnumz and baby mama Zari Hassan are going ham on each other on social media.
This is after Simba started an online feud with the Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan after he claimed she was a cheater and that she has denied him access to his two children.
In an interview with Wasafi TV on Tuesday (23.04.19), the ‘Utanipenda’ singer claimed Zari cheated on him with Nigerian superstar Peter of the former P-Square duo as well as her gym instructor at his own house. He added that he has photos to prove that she cheated on him but he played it cool since he respects her for bearing 2 kids for him.
He also claimed he cheated on her in revenge, leading to their separation. “Ni mtu ninayemheshimu sababu amenizalia. Mwenzangu alikuwa amenizidi mapenzi ila na mimi nilikuwa na vitu vyangu vya kijinga nilivyokuwa nafanya. Ila kitu alichowahi kunifanyia kilikuwa ni kibaya, wajua alikuwa ana date Peter wa P-Square. Nishawahi kuta message kabla hata ya kuwa na mtoto, aliacha simu mimi kucheki nikaona aah si huyu ni Peter. Nilichukulia poa sababu na mimi nilikuwa na vitu nafanya. Wakati tuna date, trainer wake alikuwa ana date naye, walikuwa wanakuja mpaka nyumbani kwangu mpaka picha ninazo. Halafu mimi sijawahi kuachwa na mwanamke. nikiwa kwenye mahusiano akinihitilafia, namchapa matukio hadi anaondoka mwenyewe.”
Zari has previously accused Diamond of not being there for his children and the hitmaker went to reveal that Zari does not allow him to have access to his children Nillan and Tiffah because every time he calls to talk to the children, she does not pick up. He continued to say that Zari always wants him to see the children in South Africa but he cannot be in South Africa all the time because he has work to do, and it would be expensive to travel with his team.
“Ninapotengena na mtu yeyote mimi nalipokea na sina tatizo nalo lakini baada ya matengano inawezekana labda kwa mwenzangu ilikuwa iko tofauti. Anaplay fair kwenye social media ila kiuhalisia hafanyi hivyo.”
The singer added that he has been sending Zari monthly upkeep of USD 2,000 (Ksh200,000) save for the last three months or so that he stopped after things got a little bit frosty.
Zari did not waste any time and counterattacked with her own accusations branding him a filthy liar and a deadbeat dad.
Taking on Instagram she wrote: “Sasa yale magoti mpaka Sauzi yalikuwa ya nini? Kule kuomba msamaha kote kwa radio kwa nini? Kwani umekuwa comedian sasa? Usinichafulie maisha bro. Yameisha zamani, kubali tu. Kiki zimekuwa ngumu mjini. Niheshimu tafadhali, nakulelea watoto tena vizuri.”
In another post, Zari denied ever cheating on him and instead encouraging ‘Simba’ to reform.
The two dated for four years after Diamond dumped her previous ex Wema Sepetu. They split on February 14 last year, after Diamond revealed on the radio he had cheated on her with socialite Hamisa Mobetto and ended up having a son. However in her clapback to Diamond’s cheating accusations, Zari made sure to clarify what she thought of her former lover Diamond. She went on to forewarn Diamond’s current girlfriend Tanasha Donna about his calculated lies with a Instagram post.
Zari and Diamond have since gone on to find love again, with Zari dating a mysterious man known as King Bae who showers her with flowers and money every so often. Diamond who has been dubbed East Africa’s community bae is currently dating Kenyan radio host Tanasha Donna.
