This track makes up one of Bob Marley’s most critcally acclaimed albums “Exodus.” The track was released to 1977, at the height of the hippie movement. The same track was later covered by Reggae legends Horace Andy and Dennis Brown.
2.Peter Tosh- Legalize It
This is the title track from Tosh’s first solo album after leaving The Wailers. It was released in 1975.
3. Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley featuring Stephen Marley – Medication
Sons of legend Bob Marley, Damian and Stephen teamed up for this track. The advocates for legalization of marijuana released the track in 2017, as part of Damien’s “Stony Hill” album.
4.Chronixx featuring Eesah- Perfect Tree (Roots and Chalice)
Chronixx may be young, but his sound is trie and his message is strong. The collaborationwith Eesah is critical as Chronixx shares his opinion on the concept of “Roots and Chalice” as part of the Rastafarian culture.
5.Ras Attitude- Marijuana (We Ah Bun)
This track is an easy listen, released in 2016. Ras Attitude may not have international recognition yet, however his unique sound is above pur.
6.Dr. Dre featuring Snoop Dogg, Akon – Kush
The trio of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Akon were keen on releasing a track that is an important part of hip-hop culture. This track is just right for those who like to roll one, sit back and relax.
