Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda have a special in-country programme for staff members of a public or fully chartered private university (or candidate considered for teaching or research staff recruitment) in a discipline having strong relevance to national development, not older than 36 years at the time of application: http://on.fb.me/ZkPIX5

Public Policy and Good Governance (PPGG): July 31, 2013
DAAD is supporting future leaders from Africa who want to promote democracy and social justice in their home countries. The programme offers the chance to join Master’s programmes of particular relevance for the social, political and economic development in the students’ countries of origin. In the light of the principles of Good Governance, highly qualified graduates with a first academic degree are being educated in political science, law, economics and administration and prepared for future leading positions in their home countries: http://on.fb.me/XnLUu6

DAAD is supporting professionals with a bachelor’s degree, second upper class or first class, age limit for most of the courses is 36 years (some 32), with at least two years of relevant work experience in a government ministry, central administrative office, subordinate authority or agency, a chamber of commerce or industry, an enterprise, business or firm, or as manager or employee of an NGO or development cooperation project with excellent perspectives for professional reintegration upon return to the home country: http://on.fb.me/14QNVRD
