Sauti Sol’s Delvin Mudigi, popularly known mononymously as Savara has finally dropped his debut solo single.
With all the pressure on him as he was the last one of the hit-making foursome, Savara has lived up to the expectations of his fans with a Balance, an uptempo track with a pounding bassline and a melody that you will likely get hooked on. He croons on and about striking a balance in life. Too much of anything is poisonous, usiwache life ikuwe monotonous, breathily sings on the song.
The video shows Savara in his full essence as a producer, multi-instrumentalist and creator in the studio working his magic hands, and singing behind a recording booth. Flanked by a dancers, he busts a few balance-themed moves in the video. Towards the end, he is running in the hallway of what looks like a haunted house, which adds to the captivating nature of the overall flick.
Balance is co-written by Savara’s group mate Bien Aime and Sol Generation’s Nviiri the Storyteller.
