Singer Fena is an artist who speaks her mind and she was not impressed by the turn out of events at Nai Fest.
The ‘Steam’ hitmaker was among the artists who performed at the first edition of Nai Fest which Nigerian singer Joeboy headlined. However, things did not go as smoothly as it was expected.
According to an angry Fena on social media, her microphone was cut off during her performance to usher in the star of the night, Joeboy. She sarcastically told revellers on her post that she was cut off abruptly only for the ‘Baby’ hitmaker to perform for just thirteen minutes.

She later offered a solution to music lovers while taking shots at the 22 year old’s 13 or 14 minutes long performance saying that she is set to give fans a two hour long performance at her next event.

The Nai Fest concert which was organized by Nairobi socialite Bridget Achieng’ was held on the 30th of November at the Ngong Racecourse. A
According to complaints by fans they braved the rain only for the main act to disappoint them by singing only one track four different versions, something that took about 13 minutes before being whisked off the stage.
According to reports, the event at some point turned out to be total chaos as the stage collapsed at some point, rapper Barak Jaccuzi was hit with a shoe on stage and Joeboy’s hoodie was stolen by fans.
Joeboy had his breakthrough in music about a year ago through Mr. Eazi’s emPawa 100 artist mentorship program. He has since released an EP dubbed ‘Love & Light.’
