Rock star Jon Bon Jovi, a lead singer of the popular rock band Bon Jovi has heavily criticized the flaunty lifestyle displayed by the Kardashians in their reality TV show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The star has termed the family as lacking talent, only using their bodies to gain fame.
“I think it’s horrific that we live in that world and I can tell you I’ve never given 60 seconds of my life, ever, to one of those ‘Housewives of Blah Blah’ and Kardashians.”I don’t know their names.” ‘I’ve never watched 60 seconds of the show, it’s not for me,’ the music star was quoted in an interview with Australia’s Sunday Project . Bon Jovi specifically attacked Kim West challenging her for over sharing her private life, an idea which many millenials are drawn to and consider as an appropriate and/or quick means to success.
With a music career spanning over three decades, Jon attributes hard work and perseverance to great success.”Go and write a book, paint a painting, act, study, sing, play write,” he said. “Fame is a byproduct of writing a good song.”
Jon Bon Jovi is not the first celebrity to criticize the Kardashians. Earlier in 2011 during the MTV Movie Awards, Daniel Craig and Reese Witherspoon were among the celebrities who slammed the show’s actresses – specifically Kim – for their lewd ways of making it big in Hollywood.
