Rihanna To Receive Great Honor On Barbados Independence Day

Rihanna is officially next level famous.

The Barbados beauty will be accorded great honor by the Barbados Government for her contributions to the state. The announcement that was made public by the Ministry of Tourism on the 17th of October was met with great excitement amongst Rihanna’s fans.

Rihanna, born Robyn Rihanna Fenty is set to have the street in her childhood neighborhood named after her. According to Trace, the Ministry of Tourism statement declared, ” The Government of Barbados will on Independence Day, Thursday 30th November 2017 officially change the name of Westbury New Road located in St. Michael to Rihanna Drive in honor of Barbadian superstar Ms. Robyn Rihanna Fenty who grew up in Westbury New Road.”

She also recently set a new Billboard record for hitting 5 top number 1s tracks on the Dance Club song chart. The “work” songstress has also recently released a revolutionary makeup line Fenty Beauty as well as debuting a new collaboration with sportswear powerhouse Puma.

It seems 2017, is truly the year of Fenty!
