As the world quarantines, singer Rihanna’s vocals on a new collaboration is lighting up the world.
Canadian singer PartyNextDoor has reunited with Rihanna for the new single, ‘Believe It.’
The song appears on the the R&B star’s first album in four years titled ‘Partymobile’, which was unveiled on Thursday (26?03.20) at midnight via OVO Sound.
Grammy award winning Barbadian singer Rihanna assists on the hook. “That’s when you believe it,” she croons. “That’s when you believe it/Believe you want to see me.”
Rihanna Navy is waking up to the melodious song and even though Riri sings the chorus only, her fans are just glad to hear her on some new music. Others are a little disappointed that she is only on the chorus as they would love to hear more. While others joked that the collabo was dropped to pacify her fans who think that she has forgotten that she was a singer before she became a fashion and beauty mogul.
Rihanna and PartyNextDoor had previously linked up for her Drake-assisted single ‘Work,’ which PND co-wrote. The arrival of Partymobile ends a long wait for at least one of the artists’ fandoms: both Rihanna and PND have kept fans waiting for new material since 2016 when she released ‘Anti’ and he released ‘PartyNextDoor 3.’
PartyNextDoor has remained active in the time since his last full-length release. He dropped two EPs in 2017: Colours 2 and Seven Days.
If this collabo is anything to go by, do you think that 2020 is the year the world finally hears Rihanna’s 9th studio album ‘R9′.
