Photos of Akorino model Pesh and unidentified Akorino man on holiday in Diani have been doing the rounds on social media.
Media outlets and a large number of people have speculated that the bearded Akorino man is the boyfriend to the popular model.
“Fans of popular Akorino model Pesh are heartbroken after she was pictured enjoying a holiday at the coast with an unknown man. Pesh and the mysterious man were pictured inside a plane and also enjoying a boat ride at the ocean during the sponsored holiday, speculated Nairobi News.
However, The Sauce can confirm that this is not so and the man is only a cousin to Pesh, nothing more. The male companion is Simon Karanja who is a Content creator at Capital FM Kenya, he is a creative and loves photography.
Speaking to The Sauce, Simon said that Pesh is only his cousin so nothing is going on between them contrary to the gossip on blogs. The fast-rising photographer added that he only accompanied Pesh who is a known influencer during the trip to help highlight their Diani trip courtesy of Expedition Maasai Safaris.
Pesh whose real name is Peris Wanjiku boasts of more than 12,000 followers on Instagram is known for being a modest fashion model rocking the latest trendy pieces with her signature pleated skirts as well as a head wrap. Earlier this year she was bashed for alleged ‘indecent’ dressing and forced to apologize for something that she reportedly regretted.
