Reggae Superstar Tarrus Riley To Headline The WRC Koroga Festival

Jamaican-American singer Tarrus Riley is the headliner of the WRC Koroga Festival.

The 43-year-old Reggae star will be making another trip to the country, this time to Naivasha, to perform at the much anticipated The WRC Safari Rally Koroga Festival on Sunday 25th of June 2022.

As reported by The Sauce recently, the 30th edition Koroga Festival is back with a one of a kind four day extravaganza after a two year hiatus. Koroga Festival will be the official WRC Safari Rally afterparty, happening at The Gardens, Moi South Lake Road, Naivasha.

Tarrus also known as Mr Singy Singy is a seasoned musical star with hits like ‘She’s Royal’, ‘Simple Blessings’, ‘Lighter’, ‘My Day’, ‘Superman’, ‘Don’t Come Back’ and ‘Gimme Likkle One Drop’ just to name a few.

The WRC Koroga Festival organizers have also announced a stellar line up of DJs and top Kenyan stars for the first three days of the festival.

Day one, Thursday (23.06.2022) line up consists of Capital FM’s DJ Stretch and DJ Slick Cobain, DJ Lisney and DJ Joe Mfalme.

Day two, Friday (24.06.2022) will bring to the stage popular Mugithi star Samidoh alongside Capital FM’s DJ Roudge, DJ IV and DJ Kris Darlin.

Day three Saturday (25.06.2022) revellers will be entertained by the hit making Swahili singer Otile Brown and fast-rising Drill superstars Buruklyn Boyz. Capital FM’s finest DJ Jokisila, DJ UV and DJ Schwaz will be on the decks.

The curtains will close on the four days of Safari Rally and great entertainment in a major way. The performers of the night headlined by Tarrus Riley will be, Sol Generation star Nviiri the Storyteller, Country music singer from Meru, Kamanu and Gravitti band. Top Mix masters DJ Adrian, G Money and DJ Protege will be on the wheels on steel.

The emcees will be, Capital FM’s radio hosts Wanjira Longauer, Fareed Khimani, and Kui Kabala as well as Sheila Kwamboka.

Koroga is inarguably one of the best events in Kenya and over the last couple of years through the many editions has brought the entertainment scene to a standstill.
