Real Housewives Of Nairobi Stars Minne Kariuki And Lisa Bring On The Shade And Fabulosity

The Sauce caught with up with Nairobi’s newest meteors, Minne Kariuki and Lisa Christoffersen, two of five of the cast members of Africa’s latest sensation – Real Housewives of Nairobi.

Kenya and Africa are abuzz about the new show that showcases Nairobi in a new, different light. The show depicts the flashy, high-end and glamorous lives of five women who run the capital, from their business-savvy sides, marriage, relationships and lifestyle.

Minne and Lisa are an integral part of the bunch for obvious reasons. Besides from being on the show, the wife and mother is a structural engineer and a revered actress. “I tell my own story and I’m very authentic about it. I grew up in Huruma and I have made it here. I want to tell every girl out there that you can make it,” Utters Minne. Speaking of, the Single Kiasi actress was engrossed in a dinner table tiff of words in episode 1 of the show. Asked to list three nice things about the Marini Naturals entrepreneur, Minne nonchalantly responds, “Who’s that?”

Lisa is a renowned rally driver and a lover of high-octane exercises, things she does while concurrently running her establishments, among them the renowned Lifestyle located in Gigiri. On how she juggles everything, Lisa opines: “There is 24 hours in a day and how you utilize it matters. It is just about making maximum use of those hours and everything is possible.”

With all eyes on the show, a mastermind of top producer Eugene Mbugua, the ladies promise that the show will continue to have everyone glued, all while remaining mum on what fans can expect in forthcoming episodes.

New episodes of Real Housewives of Nairobi drop every Thursday.
