Kenyan rapper and singer Petra has dropped a fresh, new duet with Tanzania’s singing sensation Ali Kiba.
After teasing that she has a project with Kiba for a days on end, Petra has finally released Love Me, a dancehall-infused track that sees the two explore love lyrics and attitude in both the song and video.
Love Me is a feel-good mid tempo record that is bound to have you humming within the first few listens.
Kiba singing in English gives the song a breath of fresh air, as does Petra’s fierce rap verse and singing. The Kevin Bosco Jnr-directed video depicts the two acts in up close and touchy positions, with Petra’s sexy regalia amping up the heat.
This is not the first time Petra has enlisted a top artist to feature of her track, in 2020 she dropped a collabo dubbed Turn Off The Light with incarcerated dancehall star Vybz Kartel.
Do not sleep on Petra’s vocal abilities, by the way! Enough said.
