Rapper French Montana denies responsibility over his dog’s attacks on people

Morocco-born American rapper French Montana is being sued for his dog’s actions, and he isn’t taking responsibility.

The ‘Famous’ hitmaker is facing two separate lawsuits, both of which involve men that came to do work on the rapper’s home who claim they were attacked by his German Shepard.

According to Urban Islandz, a man who was sent to do some work on the rapper’s pool filed a lawsuit last year, claiming that French’s dog attacked him back in 2017.

Earlier this week documents obtained revealed that French Montana denied that he was responsible for the attack claiming that, “the damages and injuries sustained by Plaintiff did not arise from circumstance s reasonably foreseeable to Defendant and were not within his reasonable ability to control.”

The Moroccan rapper also argued that the statute of limitations was upon the plaintiff’s case and that the man’s employer was really at fault instead. French’s lawyers filed a cross-complaint saying that the pool company should be liable for the alleged attack.

French was also sued in July by a man who came to install a security camera in his home in Calabasas back in 2017. The man claimed that the 34-year-old trained his dog to guard the premises and that the ‘Unforgettable’ rapper “encouraged the dog’s aggressive and vicious nature in order to make the dog a greater risk and threat to intruders.”

French Montana’s legal team has been hard at work as of late. On Monday, it was reported that he was one of many artists, including Master P and Cardi B who were being sued over the use of the “Choppa Style” beat. French Montana used the beat as a sample alongside Yo Gotti in 2017’s song “Oh Yeah.”
