Karen Nyamu has accused musician Samuel Muchoki alias Samidoh of physically assaulting her and destroying her phone.
The controversial lawyer and Nairobi and Sewerage Company director took to her Instagram live to share the grave allegations, with disheveled hair and with her face looking rather swollen.
She claimed that her baby daddy who is also a policeman showed up to her house unannounced and rained blows on her, as her daughter watched. The assault, she says, was occasioned by suspicions from him that she was cheating.
She went to claim that he later broke her iPhone 12 pro max and showed it as proof.
She later on admitted to being 3 months for the singer, raising eyebrows even the more. “My hair has been pulled you guys and I am just three months pregnant, imagine. He knows I’m pregnant and still beat me up. We have to teach these violent guys a lesson. I have never experienced this myself, I just read about it. I am shocked. My daughter was shocked, she was crying and is still crying, ‘’ she quipped.
She revealed that she was in Mombasa with colleagues, but somebody had tipped the singer that she was with an unidentified man, an accusation she rubbishes.“Yeah I’m pregnant again, children are a blessing, I will raise them. Samidoh did this to me. Someone told him I was in Mombasa with a man as if all my colleagues are female. So guys I have to make a report and make this a lesson for all men who think they can beat women and get away with it,” she continued.
She threatened to report him to the police to teach him a lesson, while admitting this is the first time he had ever laid hands on her and the first time she had ever been battered. Nyamu then implored fellow women to not take battery against them lying down, insisting she would take him to court and he would have to pay for her phone.
This is not the first time that the musician and politician have had social media in a frenzy. Back in February, Nyamu let it out that Samidoh was the father of her son. He would, albeit succumbing to pressure, admit a month later that he indeed was the father , adding that he had embarrassed his family and let down his fans, in an apology.

Meanwhile, a glimpse at comedian Terence Creative’s Instagram stories points to tne fact that Samidoh could have a project underway. He posted a series of clips with cryptic captions suggesting that something was loading. The coincidence of it all had people wondering if the allegations are a possible stunt. Time will tell.
