Madtraxx, Octopizzo and the MOB Djs, were among the country’s top entertainers who took part in the initial phase of Orange’s Live It Up Tour held on the evening of Friday July 20 at the Kenyatta University Campus Grounds.
The Kenyatta University edition of the Tour was the first in a series of events of the youth centric tour, to be staged in several institutions of higher learning around the country.
“These activities are geared towards the youth, engaging them with our brand to create a better sense of product and service awareness,” said Telkom Kenya Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Angela Nganga-Mumo.
This Friday event, which had Phelix Odiwuor – popularly known as Jalang’o or Jalas – as the MC, featured several side activities: Orange Experiential Zones where the students will interact with the Orange brand; Live It Up Party Storms as well as a Digital awareness campaign on the same.
During the Tour, the Orange Experiential Zone will allow students to experience and learn more about Orange data service offerings. Key among these will be the Holla tariff which comes with 10Mb of data as well as free access to Facebook and Wikipedia access.
Every product purchased during the Tour will entitle the buyer to a giveaway, free access to the gaming zone where the students will be eligible to win various prizes. Laptops and modems will also be set up to enable students experience high speed internet via Orange modems.
