Kenyan photographer and stylist hired by Def Jam to work on promo images for American producer Metro Boomin.
Self-taught commercial photographer Osborne Macharia and African fashion stylist Kevo Abbra recently had the chance of working with American Hip Hop/Trap Producer Metro Boomin to create a series of promo images for his comeback album “Not all heroes wear capes.”
Macharia posted the project saying that it was a privilege to work on the project, he was glad that he was given free rein on creativity and it was because of the team’s efforts that they were able to see the project through.

The artwork/ images are on display on Billboards on Time Square, iTunes, Spotify and made it to No. 1 on Billboard 200.
The work was commissioned by Def Jam / Island / Republic Records (Universal Music Group) in addition to working alongside rapper Travis Scott’s creative director, Corey Damon Black.
Osborne Macharia, who was commissioned by Marvel to work on exclusive Black Panther pieces was the Not All Heroes Wear Capes Project creative photographer. Kevo Abbra, on the other hand, worked on the project’s costume and wardrobe ideas.
