A long held tradition held by a male-only drinking society at Cambridge University has been cancelled after a student petitioned the society to cancel the ritual. Every year, the Wyverns club hosts a party to mark the end of the term. As part of the entertainment, bikini-clad girls wrestle in a jelly-filled tub, much to the excitement of the male audience.

But one female student had enough of the tradition and decided to do something about it. She got 1,176 to sign her online petition denouncing it as ‘misogynistic’ and ‘inappropriate in the modern age,” according to the Telegraph.

The Wyverns club obliged to the petition and cancelled the bikini wrestling but the party will go on.
