Late Pop singer Michael Jackson’s only daughter Paris Jackson has denied multiple reports that she survived a suicide attempt over the weekend.
According to an article by popular American tabloid TMZ, the 20-year-old daughter of the late ‘We Are The One’ singer was placed on a psychiatric hold following a hospitalization for a suicide attempt. Authorities usually place a person on a psychiatric hold when considered a danger to themselves or others.
However, Jackson disputed the news when she responded to TMZ’s news alert on Twitter. “F— you, you f— liars,” she tweeted in response. In response to a since-deleted tweet about the TMZ report, Paris wrote, “lies lies lies omg and more lies.”
People Magazine also confirmed that a suicide attempt occurred, with a source telling the publication that “Paris had an accident this morning that required medical treatment. She is currently resting at home and doing fine.”
The news of her suicide comes just weeks after HBO’s ‘Leaving Neverland’ documentary was released this month. In the two-part documentary Michael is alleged to have molested and sexually abused two men James Safechuck, 40, and Wade Robson, 36 for many years when they were boys.
As reported by The Sauce, Michael’s estate has also repeatedly denied the allegations in the film, calling it another lurid production in an outrageous and pathetic attempt to exploit and cash in on Michael Jackson who passed away in June 2009.
Hours before the alleged attempt, Paris had defended her decision to remain quiet after the documentary aired and as reported by The Sauce last week, she said that it was not in her place to defend her late father.
