Kenyan singer Nikita Kering was part of a wonderful project for the new Netflix series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
To celebrate the release of the series in South Africa, four powerhouse musicians, and a 22-piece all-female orchestra have come together to bring a legendary love song back to life.
Conductor Ofentse Pitse joined fellow South African composer and singer Msaki, Nigerian singer Fave, and Kenyan singer Nikita Kering in a stunning redoing of African Queen by Nigerian musician 2Face, also known as 2Baba released in 2004.
Netflix released a music video earlier this week in which the musicians perform the song in and around the picturesque mountains of the Western Cape.
