Nairobi Women Rep Esther Passaris offers K.O.T Kshs 10,000 to find people behind a photoshopped picture of her and Sonko in bed

Esther Passaris is calling on Kenyans on Twitter to find the original pictures used in a photoshopped picture of her and Governor Mike Sonko in bed for Ksh 10, 000.

Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris took to Twitter today (11.09.19) to offer a cash reward of Ksh10,000 to anyone who will help her find the culprits behind a photoshopped picture of her beside Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko in a compromising bedroom photo.

She also went ahead to subtly call out Mike Sonko for this photoshop by saying from a recording artist referring to Sonko’s prowess at recording all his conversations to a digital artist.

Following the tweet that is gaining a lot of traction on Twitter, Mike Sonko has denied being behind the viral photoshopped picture. He posted on his Facebook page calling out idlers who have allegedly been hired some people to make poorly photoshopped pictures of him in bed with Passaris. He added, “This is photoshop, I don’t hug from behind.”

I can see some idleness by some hired people here. This is photoshop I don't hug from behind.

On Monday (10.06.19), Passaris called out Sonko for alleging she received double pay for staying at a hotel during a parliamentary meeting.

She also faulted the governor for alleging she had told him to go to her room at the Intercontinental Hotel. She said, “I would love the hotel, Intercontinental, to access all my private data as to when I stayed in that hotel.” Passaris said her two-day stay at the hotel was during the Parliamentary induction exercise in 2017.

The conversation she had with the governor was him asking whether she would attend the induction since there was speculation ODM politicians would boycott the session.

“I actually said ‘Governor I’ve checked in, I’m actually here’… So when you take things out of context and try to create a story that is false, forgetting that I am a mother of young adults, a mother of an entire county and forgetting that I am a child and wife of someone. I think it is distasteful and degrading,” Passaris said.

Passaris asked the DCI to investigate the accusations of her asking for County funds. She said she would follow the court process to ensure justice is served.

Passaris and Sonko have been embroiled in a bitter exchange of words on social media and various media outlets. As reported by The Sauce, Mike Sonko was kicked out of the Jeff Koinange Live show for trying to level unsubstantiated claims about Passaris.
