Rapper-cum-singer and Muthoni Drummer Queen AKA MDQ has announced that she is expecting her first born child, in a minimalist announcement on her social media.
The Suzie Noma singer who dropped a critically-acclaimed album River last year, took to her Instagram flaunting a visibly grown belly while flanked by her boyfriend Musa Omusi.
“Q: Where you been MDQ? A: Being preggerz!! Between cooking a new life and avoiding Covid, I spent most of 2021 actively at home/away from humans *sorry media guys, you see why I declined all your in person requests for promo of RIVER* Our colleagues, inner circle & family have been so great in cheering us on and keeping our business, our business until we were ready to share. This 10-month journey has been intensely beautiful. My heart is so full it literally overflows with gratitude and joy 2/4,” both posted the similar capition.
The rather private musician somehow kept the pregnancy under wraps and there has been no seen footage of her pregnant prior to the announcement. Details of her relationship with lover Omusa are scanty as well, but you can count on The Sauce to keep you abreast on it all as it unearths.
