Jennifer Aniston who played ‘Racheal’ shared an image of her hanging out with the crew from one of the world’s most popular shows ‘Friends’. However, this catch-up session landed in the history books when Aniston’s Instagram following skyrocketed after posting an intimate image with the buddies. In the now-infamous picture, friends Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry feature in the blurry selfie. According to BBC, Aniston gained almost five million followers in 12 hours after posting a selfie.
It seems that the world was more than just a little excited that the six friends were back together, even if it was just an evening of drinks. BBC reported that “her post has been liked by more than eight million users, while her current follower count stands at 7.3 million. The actress reportedly gained more than 116,000 followers within 30 minutes of creating her account.” The previous Guinness World Record was held by Sussex Royals Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle when they gained 1 million followers in just 5 hours and 45 minutes according to Guinness World Record.
Aniston’s quick following growth on the Gram is suspected to be much faster than the Sussex Royals, and has been recently officially verified.
