Megan Thee Stallion graces Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue – the first female rapper on the cover!

Meghan Thee Stallion is now the first ever female rapper to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.

The Savage rapper just revealed the edgy cover that shows her draped in a beige-colored swimsuit and wavy hair, against a blue ocean/lake-esque backdrop, as is characteristic of Sports Illustrated covers.

‘’REAL SPORTS ILLUSTRATED SWIMSUIT EDITION COVER MODEL SH*T!! Thee first female rapper on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. I want to thank all the strong women in my life who inspired me to love my body and live my best hot girl life. It means the world to me to be on this cover. DREAM COME TRUE!!, ‘’ posted an elated Stallion.

Stallion recently celebrated her album Good News going platinum, her first album to hit that milestone. Earlier this year, she scooped 3 Grammy Awards at the 63rd Grammy Awards.

The rapper joins athlete Naomi Osaka and dancer and actress Leyna Bloom, two cover models in this new edition.

Sports Illustrated is an American sports magazine, first published in 1954. It is also revered for its annual swimsuit issue, which was first published in 1964.
