Rapper Megan Thee Stallion’s short-lived hiatus is over and she is bringing the heat.
The Houston native and now 3-time Grammy winner’s new song Th*t Sh*t is as ballsy as they come, to say the least. The song is not your typical bland, cliché female empowerment anthem.
The rapper taps into her Tina Snow alter ego in the video, seeking vengeance on a supposed politician who leaves a sexist comment regarding Megan as he watches her Body video. Flanked by a handful of Hotties, they stalk and attack him to his surprise, from a bathtub to an elevator. ‘’Hands on my knees, shaking a*s on my t*ot s*it, ‘’ she raps on the hook.
When asked by a Twitter follower what the inspiration behind the rather high-octane song is, the rapper had this to say: ‘’I’m really just talking s*it and taking ownership of the word t*ot and h*e because they’re not the drag that men think it is when trying to come at women for doing them.’’
This is Megan’s first solo release since dropping her ‘Good News’ debut album in November last year. She has since featured on several collaborations including Maroon 5’s Beautiful Mistakes and Lil Baby’s Cry Baby.
Earlier this year, she scooped a record 3 Grammys for Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for her smash hit ‘Savage’ remix that features Beyonce.
